About us

We are the Mauracher family. My husband, Georg, and I live here with our two children, Franziska, and our grandparents, Hans Peter and Edeltraud, on our farm. Our farm is also home to several animals, including rabbits and chickens.

The Gasshuberhof has been in our family's ownership since 1968. In 1980, the house was renovated and transformed into guest rooms. Particular attention was paid to the preservation of the typical Tiroler Stube, which was carefully dismantled by a specialist and then faithfully rebuilt to its original form.

Since 2015, my husband Georg and I have been managing our traditional fruit and wine-growing business in Oberetsch. Our orchards consist of apple varieties such as Gala, Tessa®, and Evelina®, along with Red Jumbo Berry, Fresh Jumbo, and Super Jumbo kiwiberries. In our vineyards, we cultivate grapevines of the Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc varieties. We supply the grapes we produce to the St. Pauls wine cooperative.
